A Limited Engagement -- Available now from Cerridwen Cotillion

Miranda expected to make her debut at Almack's, but
when her father's death left her penniless, she chose to
become an actress at her brother-in-law Edward's theater
instead. When Edward was arrested for debts he didn't
know he owed, Miranda and her sister Mary had to find a
way to free him, or lose everything.
Lord Justin Devereux needed a fiancee--in a hurry!
Trouble was, he didn't want to get married. His solution:
hire an actress who could act the part of his betrothed at
a crucial family dinner party. Showing that he was ready to
settle down would convince his relatives to give him
control of his inheritance. Then he could accomplish his
dream of buying land in the country and living far away
from the brittle, unsatisfying London social scene.
But when Justin hired Miranda, neither of them expected
to fall in love...

More Praise for A Limited Engagement:
“A wonderful read! Ms. Etter drew me
wholeheartedly into the vibrant world of Regency
theatre with her novel, A Limited Engagement.
Lord Devereux and his fiery fiancée-for-hire,
Miranda, are a fun pair and kept me guessing
through many twists and turns in this intriguing
storyline. The author’s careful attention to period
detail carried me blissfully to another time and
place yet never over-shadowed the powerful
emotions that make for a great romance. It was
everything I hoped it would be.”
— Susan Heino, author of the
manuscript
"Mistaken By Moonlight"
"Saralee Etter brilliantly evokes time and
place. Her readers smell the greasepaint, feel the
rough boards of Regency theater and sense the
tension around tables where overdressed ladies
avidly pursue high-stakes gambling, all the while
watching her characters fall in love."
—Carol Roddy, author of the
manuscript “Dangerous Works”
"A Limited Engagement transported me to
another world! I feasted on treats for the senses.
For the main course, Ms. Etter served up an
engaging tale featuring a delightfully rude hero and
a sweetheart of a heroine who isn’t about to take
his guff. Wit and humor laced with poignance made
up a delicious sauce. For the sides: Fun, lively
dialogue and clever observations. And don't forget
the dessert—a rousing, satisfying ending with all
the players onstage. I didn’t want to say good-bye."
--Oberon Wonch, author of the
manuscript “A Knight in Her Arms”
So charming and disarming...It's alarming!
